Welcome to our website at Arndean Cottages, Mains of Blairingone, Dollar, Clackmannanshire in Central Scotland in the UK. In a glorious rural setting with spectacular long distance views to the Trossachs, this delightful converted steading enjoys a very convenient location, being within 45 minutes drive of Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and Glasgow. Our self catering holiday cottages are situated in a quiet setting on a private estate.

Forming two sides of an attractive courtyard, opposite the owner's home, there are 2 4 star self catering holiday cottages:

	Ochil Cottage – This holiday cottage sleeps 8 persons, is a two story layout and has recently been refurbished. It has a large living room, a spacious modern fitted kitchen/dining room (as both of the cottages are self catering) and WC all located on the ground floor. On the first floor there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Further information can be found on the Accommodation page.
Blashie Cottage – This holiday cottage sleeps 6 persons. It was a single story barn but has recently been converted and refurbished. There is a living room and a fully fitted kitchen/dining room (as both of the cottages are self catering). There are three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Each holiday cottage has a separate entrance and enjoys its own garden, with shared use of a games room. Stylish furnishings, bright interior design and generous use of space make these holiday cottages relaxing and comfortable retreats after a day spent exploring the delightful surrounding area or participating in the wide range of outdoor activities.

Arndean cottages are surrounded by beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The Ochil Hills are to the North and the Central Belt to the South. Fishing, shooting, hill walking, golf and tennis can all be undertaken on the Estate.

There are many local attractions with Stirling and its historic castle and monuments only 10 miles away. The town of Dollar with good shopping is 2 miles away and there are several restaurants within 5 miles.

The two cottages are contained within a courtyard opposite the owner's house. Access is gained from the main road to the parking area on the South side of the cottages. Each holiday cottage has its own parking area and a garden which is fenced off with a terrace with garden furniture. Ochil cottage has a garage. There is a shared games room in the Courtyard.
